Application
- 7 October 2009: Application deadline for Talents and producers
- End of October 2009: 10 Production Companies are selected for the first round of the competition. The producers will be present at the Producers' Meeting in Berlin.
- 15 December 2009: 15 short film proposals are selected for the first round of the competition. Directors will be invited to attend the Producers' Meeting in Berlin.
Berlinale Talent Camous 2010
- 13 February 2010: The World Premiere of the five BERLIN TODAY AWARD 2010: “Straight to cinema” short film finalists – "Hum", "Reflection", "By Night", "Jonah And The Vicarious Nature Of Homesickness" and "The Astronaut On The Roof" – will be held during the Opening of the Berlinale Talent Campus 2010. time tba / HAU 1, Stresemannstrasse 29, 10963 Berlin / By invitation only
- 13 February 2010: Coaching Workshop for the 15 Talents invited.
- 14 February 2010: Award Ceremony of the BERLIN TODAY AWARD 2010 during the "Dine & Shine Talent Rendezvous" dinner with all Campus participants, selected producers and assorted industry experts at "ewerk", 19:30 / ewerk, Wilhelmstr. 43, 10117 Berlin / By invitation only.
- 17 February 2010: Producers' Meeting where talents pitch their projects to the attending production companies. At the end of the meeting, producers and talents will vote for their preferred partner to produce a short film for the BERLIN TODAY AWARD 2011.
Spring 2010
- March 2010: Publication of the finalists. 5 producer/director teams will be nominated as finalists for the BERLIN TODAY AWARD 2011.
- March/April 2010: Closing of contracts and start of production. Composition of production teams. Start production planning. The crew may be selected from Campus members (including alumni).

Berlinale Talent Campus 2011
- February 2011: World Premiere of the five short films during the Berlinale Talent Campus 2011, as part of the 61st Berlin International Film Festival
- The winner will be selected by a jury and will receive the Berlin Today Award 2011
